Production records for existing lines

Every line, on the record.

LineLog counts every unit with an independent sensor, walks operators through each changeover, and keeps a timestamped record of what ran, what stopped and what was checked. It adds on to the lines you already run. Nothing gets rewired.

01What we do

We set it up on your lines. Your team runs it.

We walk the line with you, install the sensor and kiosk, and configure it around your own work orders and products. Then we train your operators and supervisors, and the line runs with it from the first shift.

+6.8%

Productivity rose 6.8% when warehouse workers were simply shown how their output compared, with no change in pay. LineLog puts each line's count and rate in front of the crew all shift.

02What it records

A record for everything that happens at the line.

Each record is captured where it happens, by the person or device closest to it, and tied to the work order that was running.

Production counts
Every unit, by line and work order, in real time. Held on the device and filled in later if the network drops
Through-beam sensor on the line
Downtime
Start, end and reason for every stop. The line is flagged down automatically when units stop
Sensor detects the stop; operator picks the reason at the kiosk
Changeovers
Each component checked against the work order before the run starts
Barcode scan, or a photo stamped with work order, line, time and initials
Changeover certification
Scans, photos, weight checks and crew size, completed before the line starts
Phone, alerted by a push notification
Scrap
Quantity by part number, exportable for inventory adjustment
Operator, at end of day
Daily report
Units against goal, downtime by reason, and run efficiency for each line
Generated when the line ends the day
Live status
Running, down or changing over
Floor display, office, tablet and phone

03From the floor

What operators actually see.

These are taken from the live system. A run can't start until the changeover certification is complete, and every stop is logged with a reason from the plant's own list.

Changeover certification

Photos are stamped with the work order, line, time and initials. A skipped scan needs a supervisor PIN, and the override is recorded.

Breaks and lunch are timed against their allowance. Only time over the allowance counts as downtime.

04How it installs

Adds on. Doesn't rip out.

Each line gets a kiosk and a sensor. That's it. Nothing is wired into your machines, and the line runs the same way it always has.

  1. Sensor on the line

A through-beam sensor at one point on the conveyor counts every unit that passes. When units stop, the line is flagged down.

  2. Kiosk at the line

One touchscreen per line. Operators tap it for everything: downtime reasons, breaks, full and partial changeovers, crew size and end of day.

  3. Everyone else sees it live

Supervisors, quality and the office follow each line on the floor TV, a dashboard or a phone. Changeover checks are done on a phone.

Not wired to your PLC. Unplug LineLog and your line runs exactly as it did before.

Looking for a first few lines.

LineLog started as a production-tracking system built for a bottling and packaging plant, where it now runs on seven lines.

We're now talking with other manufacturers about how their lines run today. If paper counts and changeover checklists sound familiar, we'd like to hear from you.
